When cacao calls you closer
You may be looking for a deeper spiritual connection, a way to bring more presence into your days, or guidance as you begin sharing cacao with others.
You may already facilitate gatherings and feel that there is more to learn: the meaning behind a gesture, the relationship behind a song, the preparation behind a ceremony.
Or you may feel drawn to an ancestral immersion in Peru and want to arrive with an open heart and a foundation you can trust.
This mentorship gives that calling somewhere to grow.
Learn with a living lineage
I am Giuliano Salas, a Peruvian Inca priest. I share the ancestral teachings I have received from my elders, together with stories and experiences from my own path.
I teach cacao as a relationship with the earth, the medicine and the spiritual world. That relationship grows through attention, practice and the way we live between ceremonies.
In our encounters, you can bring your questions, deepen your understanding and take the next step with guidance. You become part of a community of people who feel a similar calling.
What we will explore together
A relationship with the spirit of cacao
Begin nurturing an energetic and spiritual connection with the medicine. Learn to approach cacao with intention, affection and an understanding of the tradition guiding the work.
Healing songs and ancestral stories
Learn the healing chants I share, understand their place in the practice, and hear the experiences that have shaped my relationship with cacao.
The opening, the journey and the closing
Learn how to prepare inwardly, open and close a ceremony, and understand what it means to accompany a gathering through its different moments.
The four levels of working with cacao
Explore the four levels in my teaching: 1. Social, 2. Psychological, 3. Energetic and 4. Spiritual. Understand the kind of experience each offers and the preparation needed to guide it.
Weekly practices, lived gradually
Bring the teachings into your own life through weekly practices. There is space to develop sensitivity, ask questions and allow your connection to deepen over time.
Prepare before you enter the forest
An ancestral immersion begins long before arrival.
In my experience, entering a Spiritual-level immersion with no preparation can make the encounter difficult for the person and the group. I recommend preparing culturally, inwardly and through practice before taking that step.
The mentorship helps you understand the work you are approaching and begin your relationship with the medicine. It prepares the ground for participation in deeper Energetic and Spiritual experiences with a lineage master.
You can begin this path without already knowing where it will lead. We start with the step in front of you.
If you feel called to guide others
Anyone sincerely willing to learn can begin preparing to facilitate the Social and Psychological levels. A Psychological gathering may take place in a city yoga studio, with meditation and sound healing.
Guiding the Energetic and Spiritual levels requires a deeper apprenticeship with a master who carries the lineage. Peruvian lineage masters spend decades preparing for this work. Taking people into the forest and serving cacao does not make an experience a Spiritual-level immersion.
Here, you learn what guiding at each level involves. Your preparation for deeper work continues through the apprenticeship, initiation and lived practice appropriate to that path. Completing mentorship alone does not qualify someone to guide all four levels.

Ask Giuliano about The Cacao Spirit PathGood to know
Can I join if I am new to cacao?
Yes. You can begin learning and developing your personal practice before an initiation. The mentorship offers a gradual foundation; you do not need to arrive ready to facilitate.
Is this only for people who want to lead ceremonies?
You can come to deepen your personal relationship with cacao or prepare for an ancestral immersion. We also explore what facilitating at each level asks of you.
Will I learn how to open and close a ceremony?
Yes. We explore inner preparation, opening and closing, healing songs and the different levels of ceremonial work, supported by weekly practices.
Will completing the mentorship qualify me to guide a forest immersion?
Guiding deeper Energetic and Spiritual work requires continuing preparation with a lineage master. Mentorship helps build the foundation; participation in a course or retreat does not automatically qualify someone to lead an immersion.
Which languages are available?
We have groups in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Message me to discuss the group and practical details for your language.
Is this medical or psychological treatment?
This is ancestral spiritual teaching and practice. It does not replace medical or mental-health care.
